This afternoon shareholders and Directors attended the Club's 97th AGM at Prenton Park where a number of issues were covered.
The AGM was based on the Annual Report & Accounts for the year ending June 30th 2009, which saw a pre-tax loss of just under £1 million. Operating expenses were reduced by £112,060 while for the third year in succession, turnover exceeded £3 million.
After the formal section of the meeting, the Chairman Peter Johnson, Manager Les Parry, Chief Executive Mick Horton, Finance Director Richard Hughes and Director Lorraine Rogers all answered shareholders' questions on a number of topics.
Les spoke on issues including team selection, scouting, set pieces and loan targets, commenting on the latter that "I won't sign someone who won't improve us" and saying the left back situation was under consideration as both Aaron Cresswell and Zoumana Bakayogo will miss the game at Brighton due to suspension.
