Tranmere Manager Les Parry is looking forward to his first Friday night match in charge of Rovers.
His side take on Hartlepool tomorrow night, kick off 7.45pm, looking for their ninth home win of the season.
Les told Tranmere Player: "Friday nights are brilliant. They have their own atmosphere and are different to Saturdays. You can't explain why, but they are.
"Hopefully with it being a Friday and people aren't committing a whole day to the game we'll get a good turnout. It's a massive game for us with Hartlepool being there or thereabouts.
"It's a bigger game than Leeds or Southampton. I know it's an old cliché, but when the crowd gets behind us it is like an extra man, so hopefully they'll turn up in their droves and be very vocal."
