When Rovers and the Terriers go head to head on Saturday afternoon it will be the 48th time the two clubs have met in all competitions.
In league matches, Rovers hold a 17 wins to 15 advantage, with 11 games ending all square. Earlier this season the Terriers defeated Rovers 2-0 at the Galpharm Stadium.
The biggest win for either side was a 4-0 home success for Tranmere in September 1989, a match that saw John King's side score through Dave Higgins, Chris Malkin, John Morrissey and Ian Muir, while Rovers' last home win over Huddersfield was a 3-1 victory in March 2009, Antony Kay (2) and Bas Savage on target.
