Danny Holmes signed a one-year contract with Tranmere Rovers in June 2011.
The 22-year old right back began his career at Tranmere, coming through the Club's Centre of Excellence and youth team before making his first team debut in November 2008.
He spent two years at Welsh Premier League side The New Saints, making 57 league appearances and winning one championship medal and two Loosemores League Cup medals.
At the end of 2010-11, eight of the twelve Welsh Premier League managers selected him in their team of the season.
