Tranmere signed striker Adam McGurk on a one year deal in August 2010 after he impressed while on trial at the Club.
McGurk, 21, is a product of the Aston Villa youth system. The Northern Ireland under-21 international joined Rovers on trial and signed on a non-contract basis after impressing in a friendly against Liverpool.
He was included in the squads against Walsall and Huddersfield Town, came on as a substitute against Bournemouth and scored for the Reserves in his first competitive game for the Club. After breaking into the team at the end of the season he signed a new contract over the summer.
