Reserves: Rovers 0 Carlisle 1
Steve Davies made his return from injury as Tranmere Reserves went down to a late goal against Carlisle United at Prenton Park in the Pontin's Holidays League Division One West.
The winger completed the full 90 minutes and went close to scoring with a second half free kick which had to be palmed away by Carlisle keeper Chris Howarth.
The best chance of the first half for Tranmere fell to Mike Jones, but he sent his shot straight at the keeper.

However, the visitors grabbed the winner with just three minutes of normal time remaining with Danny Carlton heading in from a corner.
Striker Craig Curran was sent off on 55 minutes for two yellow cards.
