A Paul Henry goal wasn't enough for Rovers as they were defeated 3-1 by Macclesfield Town at Moss Rose in the Cheshire Premier Cup Semi-Finals.

Rovers, who fielded a very young side, were 2-1 down at half time, with the Silkmen adding a third in the second half to secure a place in the final against Crewe Alexandra.
