Tranmere Reserves made it two wins out of two in the totesport.com League with a 1-0 victory over Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.

New signing Kithson Bain completed the full 90 minutes, but it was Charlie Barnett who scored the winning goal, finishing first time from Bain's pass.

Barnet also hit the post from a free kick in a match which Rovers dominated.

Reserve Team Manager Shaun Garnett said: "We should have scored more. It was a good performance by the lads both in terms of work rate and technical ability."
