Tranmere Reserves suffered a 4-1 defeat against Rochdale in their totesport.com League game on Wednesday night.

Rovers were 2-0 down at half time and though Shaun Garnett's young side netted through Josh Macauley, it was not enough to prevent the home side scoring two more to complete the win.
