Tranmere came from 2-0 down to claim a point in their Pontin's Holidays League match against Chester City at the Deva Stadium.

The home side were 1-0 up at the interval and doubled their lead early in the second half.

However, a goal from Joe Fowler reduced the deficit on 57 minutes, and though Paul Brown saw a penalty saved five minutes later, Rovers managed to grab an equaliser with 15 minutes left through Adam Dickinson.

The match marked Paul Martin's comeback from a long term back injury, with the centre back completing the 90 minutes.
