Tranmere Reserves went down 1-0 against Blackpool on Monday afternoon in the Pontin's Holidays League.

The Tangerines scored the only goal of the game on 14 minutes, with Sean Patterson netting from a corner.

Rovers went close to an equaliser on several occasions, but home keeper Les Pogliacomi denied Steve Davies twice and Danny Harrison.
