Rovers 1 Shrewsbury 0

A Paul Brown penalty in the second half gave Rovers a win in their final Reserve game of the season.
Paul Martin and Paul Henry came close to breaking the deadlock in the first half, while Jamie Garry volleyed wide from Olly James' cross on 37 minutes.
But the breakthrough came on 50 minutes. Adam Dickinson latched on to a long ball from Paul Martin but was hauled down in the area. Brown stepped up to take the kick and put the ball into the top right corner.
With seven minutes remaining, Rovers created the best opportunity in the game. Dickinson won the ball in his own half and played a short pass to Luke Holden. The winger raced forward before passing wide to James. His cross was met eight yards out by Brown but his effort went just wide of the post.
