Carlisle 1 Rovers 2

A young Tranmere side claimed a 2-1 win over Carlisle United in the Pontin's Holidays League.
Under the guidance of Shaun Garnett and Jason McAteer, Rovers took the lead at Brunton Park on 10 minutes when Sean Ferguson found the net from outside the area.
Mike Jones went close for the visitors before Craig Curran doubled the lead on 37 minutes, the youngster converting from close range from Aaron Cresswell's cross.
Carlisle pulled a goal back two minutes into the second half through Danny Livesey, but Rovers held on until the final whistle for the victory.
After the match Garnett said: "It was a good all-round team performance from the lads. We were all under 20 years old and they had a few experienced players out so it is very pleasing. It's great experience from the lads and they all worked hard for the win,
"Fergie's goal was brilliant. A clearance fell to him, he ran forward and smashed it in from 25 yards."
