Posted on: Thu 26 Mar 2009

Tranmere Rovers have cut admission to their next home game against Bristol Rovers on Sunday, 5 April, kick off 3pm to just £5 for ALL HOME SUPPORTERS.

All supporters can watch the match for only £5 in all home stands - a discount of up to £14 on normal prices.

Tranmere have the best home record in the division with 13 wins and four draws this season and are just outside the Play Offs with seven games remaining.

Tranmere Chairman Lorraine Rogers said: "This is a huge match for the Club as we fight to get in the Play Offs.

"It's an opportunity for football fans to come and support their local team on a Sunday afternoon and we want the public to come and back us.

"Our £5 admission price is a way of making the game as accessible as possible for all.

This is just one of a number of special ticket initiatives the Club has run this season as we continue our ongoing commitment to be the best value for money family football club in the region.

In addition to massively reducing admission prices, the Club is also providing special match entertainment, with Ellesmere Port Sea Cadet band and competitions for supporters.
