Chief Executive Mick Horton said: "We recognise that a lot of young people are keen to come to see live football but cannot always afford to do so.
"We hope this offer will make it more practical for them to come to Prenton Park, enjoy the game and support their local team.
"There are a lot of colleges and universities in Merseyside who have just started a new term, and this is an ideal chance for their students to come and watch live football for just £5."
Young persons can pay cash on the turnstiles for the Kop, Paddocks and Johnny King Stand with photographic proof of age (passport or drivers licence), or purchase tickets for the Main Stand from Ticket Office.
Young persons can pay cash at the following turnstiles: Paddocks: 3, 29; Kop: 16, 19, 23, 26; Johnny King Stand: 12.

"We teamed up with the Royal British Legion in the last two seasons and were delighted with the response. We are more than happy to work with them again.
"We recognise the efforts of current and former servicemen and women and are pleased to be able to offer them reduced admission to the Brighton game and hope to welcome them back to Prenton Park in the future."
