Rovers Coach Shaun Garnett says the management team are already looking ahead to Wednesday's game at Oldham following the postponement of the Yeovil match.
The Boundary Park fixture was originally scheduled to have taken place over Christmas but heavy snow prevented Garnett from a festive return to another of his former clubs. The two sides now meet in midweek, kick off 7.45pm.
He told www.tranmererovers.co.uk: "We're very disappointed the Yeovil game is off but there's nothing you can do. The lads are climbing the walls waiting for a game and are in buoyant mood, so it is unfortunate the weather has led to another game being called off.
"Now we've got to prepare for our next game at Oldham. The lads will be in over the weekend. It's important we maintain their fitness - we can't afford for them to have a weekend off doing nothing.
"I'm looking forward to going back to Oldham. I was disappointed the game didn't go ahead on Boxing Day as I'd arranged to meet up with a few friends I still have there. Hopefully the game will go ahead as planned on Wednesday and we can finally get playing again."
