Ian Thomas-Moore was delighted to get the goal that put Tranmere in the lead as they went on to win 2-1 over Yeovil at Prenton Park.
The striker netted shortly after half time with Ash Taylor also getting on the scoresheet.
Thomas-Moore told www.tranmererovers.co.uk: "The goal seemed to get us going. We huffed and puffed in the first half and obviously my goal was pretty important because we kicked on from there.
"In the second half I think we played a lot better than we have for a while. It was a must win game for us.
"We've got a lot of good players here and if we keep playing like we did in the second half I think we'll be ok."
