Tranmere Manager Les Parry will make at least one change to the team that started the 1-1 draw against Huddersfield, with Paul Rachubka returning to Leeds following the end of his loan spell.
Owain Fon Williams is set to return in goal after missing more than two months through injury, though Adam McGurk is a doubt with an ankle injury picked up against the Terriers.
Dave Raven is still ruled out after having a hernia operation earlier this week while Andy Robinson (knee), Enoch Showunmi (leg) and Zoumana Bakayogo (leg) are also unavailable. Ryan Brunt could make his first appearance for Rovers away from Prenton Park after joining on loan from Stoke City last week.
Rovers go into the game in 17th place in League 1, aiming for their fourth win on the road this season. A victory could put Tranmere as high as 15th.
Wycombe currently prop up the League 1 table with 23 points from 28 games. The Chairboys have won four, drawn two and lost eight at home this season.
Gary Waddock is without youngster Kadeem Harris after he joined Cardiff City, but he has added winger Anthony McNamee, midfielder James Harper and striker Matty Whichelow to his squad.
