However, midfielder Paul McLaren serves the second match of a two game suspension and Calvin Zola and Jennison Myrie-Williams are likely to miss out through injury once again.

Southend manager Steve Tilson - who will be serving a touchline ban - has said he will not rest any first team players as they continue to push for an automatic promotion place. Hal Robson-Kanu is a doubt with an Achilles injury, while Che Wilson, Richie Foran and Lewis Hunt are all definitely unavailable.
