Tuesday, 2 September, kick off 7.00PM at Prenton Park
Tranmere Manager Ronnie Moore will be forced into making changes for Tuesday night's game against Accrington Stanley due to the unavailability of Ian Goodison and Gareth Edds.
Goodison is away on international duty, while Edds misses out with a groin injury and joins defender Godwin Antwi in the treatment room. Ryan Shotton and Luke Waterfall are possible replacements in defence, though Antony Kay could also move into the back four.
Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman may give on loan midfielder David Worrall his first start since arriving from West Brom, while Fola Onibuje could start in attack in place of Paul Mullin. Robert Grant misses out with a knee injury and Colin Murdock is likely to be rested.
Stanley come to Prenton Park in 10th place in League Two, with six points from four games.
Tonight's game is technically the first meeting between the two clubs, with Accrington Stanley having been reformed in 1968, six years after leaving the Football League. The last time Rovers played the 'old' Stanley, they claimed a 3-1 win in 1959, with Keith Williams (2) and Tony Rowley on target.
Rovers can be backed to win at 4/7 with bet365, while a 2-1 victory is 7/1. Fancy something similar to Saturday? Antony Kay scoring first in a 4-1 win is a massive 410/1! Remember, every bet you place at bet365 directly helps the Club.
