Defender Ian Goodison returns to the Tranmere squad for the match at Huddersfield after missing both the win over Accrington Stanley and the defeat against Oldham Athletic while on international duty.
However, Gareth Edds is a doubt with a groin injury while Godwin Antwi remains unavailable with an ankle injury.
Huddersfield boss Stan Ternant has defender Andy Butler back in contention after he missed the last three games through injury, but strikers Andy Booth and Danny Cadamarteri are unavailable.
The Terriers are 17th in League One with five points from five games. They have drawn one and lost one of their two home matches.
The last time the two sides met was in April, when Andy Booth's goal gave the Terriers a 1-0 win and ended Rovers' play off hopes. Saturday's game will be the 40th meeting between the sides, with Tranmere having won 17 and Huddersfield 13.
Rovers can be backed to win at 11/4 with bet365, while a 2-1 victory is 12/1. Fancy a scorecast? Andy Taylor scoring first in a 3-2 win is a massive 1300/1! Remember, every bet you place at bet365 directly helps the Club.
