Tuesday, 9 February, kick off 7.45pm at KRBS Stadium Priestfield
Tranmere Manager Les Parry welcomes Zoumana Bakayogo back into the squad after the left back missed the Oldham game due to suspension, but Gareth Edds is a doubt with a shoulder injury.
Marvin Sordell could be in line for his first start after joining on loan from Watford, while the Manager will decide whether to revert to a 4-3-3 formation after playing 4-4-2 in the last three games.
Rovers go into the match looking for their second away win of the season and hoping to close the three point gap to Gillingham who are currently 20th in League One. The Gills have won seven, drawn five and lost two of their 14 home games this season.
Gills manager Mark Stimson has a doubt over the fitness of striker Rene Howe while Tristan Plummer, Simon King, Garry Richards and Jacob Erskine are all definite absentees.
Tonight's game will be the 32nd time the two clubs have met with Tranmere holding a 12 wins to five advantage over the Gills. Earlier this season Rovers defeated Gillingham 4-2 at Prenton Park, the goals coming from Ian Thomas-Moore (2), John Welsh and Terry Gornell. The last time the sides played at the Priestfield Stadium, goals from Steve Davies and Chris Greenacre gave Rovers a 2-0 victory.
Rovers can be backed to win at 13/5 with the Club's online betting partner, while a 1-0 win for Les Parry's side is 15/2. Fancy a scorecast? Ash Taylor scoring the first goal in a 2-1 Tranmere win is 300/1! Remember, every bet you place at bet365 directly helps the Club.
