League Football Education (LFE) is a partnership between The Football League and The Professional Footballers' Association which was set up to manage the apprenticeship programme at clubs throughout the league including Tranmere Rovers.
Tranmere Chief Executive Mick Horton recognises the importance of the LFE. He said: "The LFE plays a vital role in the development of young footballers, not just here at Tranmere but at clubs across the country.
"The support they provide clubs and scholars in the key area of education and development is hugely important and we are pleased to have worked closely with them for many years."
