Tranmere Rovers completed the signing of goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams on a two year contract in July 2011.
Then aged 24, the keeper began his career at Crewe Alexandra but made his first team debut for Stockport County after joining the Hatters in 2008. He made 91 appearances for Stockport and also spent time on loan at Bury before joining Rochdale last season.
Born in Caernarfon, Wales, Owain has represented his country at under-21 level and been included in the full Welsh squad four times.
