Sam Taylor’s huge potential was recognised in May 2023, when the pacy striker penned a new two-year deal with Tranmere, capping a successful month in which he had scored his first senior goal and made his first professional start for the Club.
An impressive start to the 2023/24 season saw the youngster offered a further one-year extension, securing his services to Rovers until the end of June 2026.
Like teammate Mikey Davies, the 19-year-old forward is one of our own, having come through the ranks of the highly regarded Tranmere Education Hub where he combined his BTEC studies with training and playing for the college. He secured his first contract in January 2022 after netting 11 goals in only half a season for the under-18 squad.
Taylor’s technical quality and impressive displays will see him looking to make his mark this season as a developing talent within the Rovers squad.
