Lee O'Connor is a highly versatile player, with the ability to operate effectively in midfield and defensive positions.

Born on July 28th, 2000, he started out at Villa F.C. of Waterford before moving to Manchester United's youth setup.   

In September 2019, O'Connor joined Celtic, signing a four-year contract. He gained experience during a loan spell at Scottish Championship club Partick Thistle in January 2020, making five appearances before the season was cut short due to the pandemic.

Internationally, O'Connor made his debut for the Republic of Ireland in a friendly match against New Zealand in November 2019, recording an assist.   

O'Connor embarked on a season-long loan with Rovers in August 2020, with his impressive performances leading to a second extended loan period signed the following summer. The move was made permanent in January 2022.
