Tranmere Rovers Football Club has a strong team of associate directors who have been helping the Club develop in numerous different areas.
Behind the scenes we have a number of Associate Directors who have been helping out in numerous areas around the Club.
We would like to thank them for all of their hard work and introduce them all to you in more detail so you have more of an idea as to who they are, what they do and their favourite TRFC memories!
Areas he helps with: Media, Marketing, Communications and International.
Bio: Lee has been a fan of Rovers since he was knee high to a grasshopper and first went with his Dad, Craig, back in 1993. They had season tickets for many years together.
Lee is the co-founder of Invasion Camp Group which includes brands such as AmeriCamp, Wrestling Travel, Camp Thailand, Camp.co.uk and Invasion.com He consults on marketing and social media for some of the biggest brands in the world.
He was named 'Britain's Best Boss' back in 2017, but more importantly he's also squad number 50 after his contributions to the #SWA2 and has his boots ready for the call from the gaffer... just don't ask him to take a fitness test!
Favourite TRFC moment: Tony Thomas - Lee never forgets when “Tank” scored from around the half way line! Lee tried doing it as a kid for weeks afterwards when playing at Shore Villa... unsuccessfully!
Favourite moment supporting TRFC: Sitting next to his Dad, Craig on Lee's left and Sir Trevor Brooking on his right at the National League play-off final at Wembley.
At the final whistle, Lee was that elated he ended up kissing Sir Trevor on the cheek!
Areas he helps with: Runs the Fan Park and is part of the SLO team. Mark Is currently assisting in the setting up of a preferred contractors list and producing service schedules for specific areas of the limited company. He is also a board member and secretary of the Supporters Trust.
Bio: Mark has been a supporter of Tranmere Rovers since 1968 when he attended his first match with his dad. Has been a season ticket holder since 1989.
Mark is the managing director of a Sheet-metal fabrication company based in Liverpool. Has been on the board of the supporters Trust for approximately 10 years and is now a associate director of the club, representing the Trust.
Favourite TRFC player: Mark's personal favourite is Johnny Morrissey and of the current players, James Norwood.
Favourite moment supporting TRFC: Reaching the League Cup Final, to beating Everton at Goodison Park. But there has actually only been one time he was reduced to tears and that was our promotion at Wembley last season.
Areas he helps with: International development with Chinese and Indonesian opportunities, business and corporate engagement and Trustee of Tranmere Rovers in the Community.
Bio: Martyn was Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the Everton Tigers basketball club, when they had their most successful period in 2007-2010, and is a lifelong football fan. We've been able to wean him away from Goodison Park these past five years, and he has totally embraced the passion and ambitions that we have at Prenton Park. A born again Tranmere fan.
He's been a close friend of our Chairman for over 30 years when they worked together in the accountancy profession at what is now Ernst & Young, and he has since developed and grown a wide range of business, and is currently CEO of Document Direct, the UK's leading on-line typing and transcription service, and Legal RSS who provide news content and apps for law firms.
He's cycled to Paris, Amsterdam and completed the Etape, a stage of the Tour de France, and his personal footballing highlight was warming up with the Chairman in a European Cup Winners' Cup tie in 1985.
Favourite TRFC player: Last season he's really enjoyed the energy and tenacity of David Perkins.
Favourite TRFC moment: Saturday 12th May 2018, and that wonderful promotion day at Wembley.
Areas he helps with: Ben helps market ticket sales on matchdays and season tickets alongside assisting the Club in numerous crowd funders, for example, 'Raise the Roof' and #SWA2.
Ben has also played a key role in assisting with improving the facilities inside and outside Prenton Park and has a strategic input into various aspects of the Club.
Bio: Ben has supported the Club since the late 1960s and has been a season ticket holder since 1979. He currently runs his own business in the hospitality sector and has been on the Tranmere Rovers Trust board for 15 years.
Favourite TRFC player: Ian Muir
Favourite TRFC moment: Beating Bolton Wanderers at Wembley in the Play-Offs and gaining promotion to Division Two which is now known as the Championship.
