Tranmere Rovers in the Community have been nominated as a finalist for Community Club of the Season (all other leagues) in the Northwest Football Awards 2022.
The Armstrong Projects NWFA pays tribute to and recognises those who achieved footballing excellence both on and off the field during the 2021/22 season.
TRIC have earned several nominations in the same category in previous years and have earned their place once again at this year’s ceremony at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford on Monday 7th November.
Our Community team have had another successful year, providing opportunities for various groups, fully inclusive of any age, gender or disability.
Senior Community Manager, Matt Houghton, said: “This nomination is testament to the hard work and dedication of the TRIC team who have continued to support local communities throughout the 2021/22 season.
"It’s been a challenging year following the pandemic and our team have provided a range of innovative programmes that have enhanced both the physical and mental wellbeing of participants.
