Dan and Matt are heading over to the USA

8 January 2020

Tranmere Rovers’ International Soccer Academy are heading over the Atlantic for the Baltimore Soccer Convention later this month.

Dan O’Donnell and Matt Hunter will be attending the convention, which is held in association with United Soccer Coaches between January 15th-19th.

The United Coaches Soccer Convention alongside the US Soccer Workshop remains hugely popular, attracting 6,300 coaches and 14,000 participants from across the world.

Dan and Matt will then travel to Pittsburgh to deliver sessions to the Tranmere Rovers academy which launched late last year.

The Pittsburgh academy works with local clubs to develop players using the Tranmere Rovers curriculum which incorporates futsal as a development tool to unlock the potential of the players in the local area.

The Club launched a Pittsburgh academy as they aim to increase and expand upon their international department.

Next stop on Dan and Matt’s North American journey will be Toronto to visit the Halton Hawks academy, one of the ISA’s partner clubs.
The pair will provide sessions and give a TRFC ISA presentation to parents and players of the academy.

In-between these trips, they will be making stop-offs to various different clubs, schools, colleges and universities across the United States for meetings about what the ISA can offer to them.
