Tranmere Rovers secured second place in the National League with yesterday 2-0 win over FC Halifax Town and two matches still to play.
That means that Micky Mellon's side will take part in a one-legged play-off semi-final at Prenton Park.
With the new play-off format, a preliminary stage takes places first with 4th playing 7th and 5th playing 6th in an initial phase before the semi-final stage where Rovers will come in.
On Saturday 5th May, Tranmere Rovers will take on the winners of the 5th vs 6th fixture at Prenton Park, kick-off 12:15pm.
The winners of the two semi-finals will play in the Promotion Final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 12 May, kick-off 3:00pm.
