UK FIRST AS LIVE EFL ACTION SET TO BE STREAMED ON iFOLLOW
Matches available for just £10 on match-by-match basis
History will be made in the EFL this week as 31 midweek fixtures across the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League One and Sky Bet League Two are set to be live-streamed to football fans in the UK and Ireland.
The upcoming round of midweek fixtures is the first at which domestic streaming will be widely available to viewers in the UK and Ireland, with iFollow the only place to watch enhanced four camera coverage of Sky Bet Championship matches in 2018/19 at a cost of just £10 per match.
iFollow provides exclusive access to League One and League Two games for supporters unable to make the match in person, with fans of Clubs from across all three divisions benefitting from major upgrades to the service, including added commentary and graphics packages to improve the viewing experience for all.
Supporters watching coverage via the iFollow platform, which is available through a Club’s official website or App, will also be able to keep up to date with scores from around the games, with live text updates provided as the goals go in throughout the EFL.
Amongst the fixtures available this week, Paul Warne’s Rotherham United host Hull City at the New York Stadium in the Sky Bet Championship, Burton Albion travel to Bradford City in League One hoping to make it back-to-back wins after Saturday’s victory against Doncaster Rovers, whilst Checkatrade Trophy winners Lincoln City welcome Bury to Sincil Bank in League Two.
To purchase a match pass or to view relevant subscription information relating to iFollow visit your Club’s official website, or via www.efl.com/iFollow
The action doesn’t come to halt after this week, as fans in the UK and Ireland can watch future live EFL League games provided that:
o They fall outside of UEFA’s Article 48 Blocked Hours (14:45-17:15 on a Saturday)
o They fall outside Bank Holidays
o They have not been selected for broadcast on Sky Sports
These developments will also benefit overseas subscribers with the enhanced production values being made in all locations, despite international prices remaining frozen from 2017/18 when the service was introduced to overseas subscribers. Audio commentary is also available to both overseas and domestic supporters.
