We spoke to Luke McCullough ahead of our game against Port Vale and about his time at Rovers so far
“I’ve had some frustrating injuries in the last year so I needed game time and when I knew Tranmere were interested, I wanted to come here straight away.
“I spoke to the manager and liked what he had to say and the way his teams play. We want to have a real go this season.
“We’ve definitely got a chance of having a good season. I came in on Monday and played on Tuesday but I think that’s the best way the settle in, by playing games.
“Just judging off the game that I’ve played in, we more than held our own and probably could have nicked something against a team that should be up there at the end of the season so I think that sets the standard going forward.
“The more the game went on I felt more comfortable. Ollie Banks was brilliant to the side of me and Connor Jennings on the right so I’m looking forward to getting more game time under my belt.”
