Super White Christmas: TRFC to help adults in need

24 December 2018

Tranmere Rovers are once again hosting a ‘Super White Christmas’, which consist of a number of events across the festive period helping disadvantaged children and adults in the local area.

On Boxing Day we will be hosting an event for adults in need. We would love it if you could invite adults who are suffering from loneliness, homelessness or would just need cheering up over the Christmas period who you think would benefit from this event.

We hope to give adults who might not be able to access a hot meal, someone to talk to or a safe place over Christmas something to look forward to.

At the club we are not trained in how to deal with drug dependency or any specific medical conditions which might be affecting the adults you might select so if you could choose adults who would benefit from the experience without needing specialist care that would be appreciated.

The event will be hosted on 26th December for up to 50 adults in need at the Tranmere Rovers Recreation Centre, Borough Road from 12-2pm. There will be a hot meal, entertainment, a brief tour of Prenton Park and a gift given to each adult in attendance, as well as a ticket for entry into the Tranmere Rovers vs Morecambe game held straight after the event. The adults can join in with as much or as little as they would like to.

Places are limited to 50 so please RSVP to Steve Williams – stevew@tranmererovers.co.uk or call 0151 608 2354 for further details.
