Cole Signs New Deal

25 May 2018

Tranmere Rovers attacker Larnell Cole has extended his stay at Prenton Park, signing a new one-year contract with the Club.

The Manchester-born 25-year-old came through the Academy system at Manchester United before joining Fulham in January 2014.

He initially arrived at Prenton Park on a short-term deal in October 2017 as a free agent before it was extended until the end of the season.

Cole made 17 appearances for Rovers during the 2017-18 season, scoring three times including the final goal in Tranmere's 4-2 play-off semi-final victory over Ebbsfleet United, and featured in the Promotion Final against Boreham Wood at Wembley Stadium.

Manager Micky Mellon said: “Larnell is a clever and exciting footballer and I'm delighted that he will be a part of the group for our first season back in the Football League.

“He has fantastic ability as we saw last season and he played his part in helping us to promotion.

“We are great admirers of the way he plays the game and can unlock defences, so I'm really looking forward to continue working with him next season.”

Larnell is signed up for 2018-19 and you can too with a season ticket. Don't miss a kick of our first season back in the EFL. Buy now at www.trfctickets.co.uk!
