Three pre-season friendlies announced
The pre-season fixture list for Tranmere Rovers is beginning to shape up as Micky Mellon's side start preparations for the 2018-19 season in Sky Bet League Two.
Rovers will make a short trip to Cantilever Park to take on Paul Carden's Warrington Town on Tuesday 17 July, kick-off 7:30pm.
The Yellows made it to the Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division play-offs at the end of the season, narrowly missing out to Grantham Town.
The following week, Rovers will travel north to Lancashire to take on National League North outfit Chorley at Victory Park, on Tuesday 24 July, kick-off 7:30pm.
Matt Jansen's side also narrowly missed out on promotion, losing out in the National League North play-off semi-final against Harrogate Town.
On Saturday 28 July, Rovers will play host to Sky Bet League One side Rochdale at Prenton Park with a 3:00pm kick-off.
Keith Hill's side avoided relegation on the final day of the season when former Rovers player Joe Thompson scored a winner against Charlton Athletic to see them finish one point above the drop zone.
They also had a great run in the FA Cup last season, going all the way to the fifth round and taking Tottenham Hotspur to a replay.
