Goalkeeper looks ahead to Promotion Final

Scott Davies is looking to help Tranmere Rovers back into the EFL when he starts between the sticks at Wembley Stadium for the Vanarama National League Promotion Final against Boreham Wood on Saturday afternoon.

The goalkeeper says the desire to take the Club back to League football is strong and he and his team mates will be doing everything possible to achieve that goal on Saturday.

He said: "It's not about the Wembley experience, it's all about getting this Club back into the Football League, that's the aim and that's what we'll be trying to do on Saturday.

"We've been keeping our feet firmly on the ground because we know we've still got a big job to do."

The Super White Army will be travelling south again in large numbers for the Promotion Final, and the shot-stopper says that they can certainly play their part in helping the team reach the achievement of promotion.

When asked for his message for the supporters, he responded: "Stay with us, enjoy your day because you've been a big part of it, last week showed that.

"Things might go against you but it's about sticking together, players on the pitch, staff in the dugout and fans in the stands sticking together and then hopefully we can all enjoy it together at the end."
