Premier League Primary Stars - Anti-bullying week

19 November 2018

As part of our successful Premier League Primary Stars project, first team players Ryan Williams and Dylan Mottley Henry were invited to Portland primary school this week to take part in their anti-bullying week.

As part of their anti-bullying week, class teacher Andy Heywood had organised a 'Kick It Out' style workshop to incorporate some of their PSHE topics, and school values.

Both players answered various questions based on adversities they have faced growing up, along with challenges in their careers which have influenced them as players.

The players took time out to answer these questions, have photographs taken and sign autographs. Some of the children are season ticket holders, and follow Tranmere home and away so it was great for them to meet some of their favourite players.

We look forward to continuing our good relationship with Portland, with some more Premier league Primary Stars sessions in the new year.
