Christ the King RC Primary School ran out winners in the annual Tranmere Rovers FC EFL Kids Cup Final beating Our Lady of Pity RC Primary School from Greasby 4-3 on penalties with the score being 0-0 after extra time.
42 teams took part in our local competition held at Bebington High Sports College over a period of three weeks with some fantastic football on display. 12 teams qualified for finals night with Christ the King and Our Lady of Pity being joined by Gayton Primary and St Josephs RC Primary (Birkenhead).
Christ the King will now go forward to represent Tranmere Rovers at the EFL Trust regional finals in March playing against other clubs from League 2.
