Tranmere Rovers have been drawn at home against either Hemel Hempstead or Oxford City in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Micky Mellon’s men, who were number 45 in the draw, which was made live on BBC Two on Monday evening, will face either the Tudors or City the weekend commencing the 10th November, with the date and kick-off time yet to be confirmed.
Hemel Hempstead or Oxford City will face off in a FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay on Tuesday night with the winner advancing to the first round with a trip to the Wirral on the horizon.
Last season, Rovers were knocked out in the first round of the competition in a replay against current League One side Peterborough United.
Ticket details for the FA Cup first round will be announced at a later date.
