Tranmere Rovers manager Micky Mellon confirmed in his post-match press conference last night that Luke McCullough will miss the remainder of the season.
The midfielder, on loan from League One side Doncaster Rovers, suffered a serious injury in last weekend’s 3-0 win against Carlisle United.
Micky said: “It looks like he has got a cruciate knee ligament injury so his season is over which is really unfortunate for him and for us as a group.
“We will get him looked after, he will go and see a specialist on Saturday to see what the plan is for him moving forward but in terms of football, his season is finished.”
