Chapman joins on emergency loan

14 December 2019

Tranmere Rovers have signed goalkeeper Aaron Chapman on a one-week emergency loan from Peterborough United.

The stopper is available for selection for today’s Sky Bet League One fixture away to Lincoln City at Sincil Bank.

Chapman provides cover for captain Scott Davies who will be out until after Christmas with a calf injury.

The 29 year old started his career with Belper Town, before representing Chesterfield, Chester, Accrington Stanley and Bristol Rovers.

He was a part of the Accrington side who were crowned Sky Bet League Two champions in 2017/18.

Chapman played 35 times for Peterborough last season.

Welcome to the Club, Aaron!
