Tranmere Rovers would like to thank those who have donated generously to our Super White Christmas for 2019, and the Club are appealing for more donations before Christmas Eve.
Rovers’ Christmas appeal will help residents in the local community who need it the most this Festive period, to enjoy the Christmas experience that most of us take for granted.
Tranmere Rovers are asking for donations of non-perishable foods, warm clothing, toiletries and cash donations.
Donations can be dropped off at either Prenton Park’s Club Store or the Recreation Centre.
Deadlines for donations are Monday 16th December for all children’s gifts, and Christmas Eve for all adult gifts and clothing.
And having been inundated with donations from the SWA, we appreciate all of the support from both businesses and individuals who have helped with this year’s Super White Christmas appeal.
So far, Super White Christmas activities which have taken place include first-team coach Shaun Garnett and Managing Director Dawn Tolcher visiting Children in Care Christmas party recently.
The Club also hosted a children’s Christmas party for those aged 6-14 ahead of our recent home fixture against Accrington Stanley on Saturday 7th December.
TRFC will be holding further events for their Super White Christmas initiative, including on Sunday 29th December, for adults in need.
We are inviting adults who are suffering from loneliness, homelessness or might just need cheering up, something to look forward to.
At the event, a hot meal, entertainment, and a gift will be given to each adult in attendance as well as a ticket for entry to our game against Blackpool.
On Christmas Day, we will be welcoming care leavers to Prenton Park for Christmas dinner and some festive activities to enjoy!
