After a very pleasing month for Rovers and a number of important team performances, Scott Davies, Mark Ellis and Connor Jennings have all been nominated for the PFA Bristol Street Motors February Player of the Month award.
With three wins, one draw and only one defeat throughout the month, our Play-Off ambitions took a healthy boost going into March.
Scott Davies kept an impressive three clean sheets out of five with two Man of the Match displays at both Cambridge and Exeter which included a number of stunning match winning saves.
After returning to the side of late, Mark Ellis has been a rock at the back for Rovers having formed a solid partnership with Manny Monthe to help the side to three clean sheets including just one goal being conceded in four games.
Having already won the SWA vote for our Player of the Month, Jennings has now been nominated for the PFA award. With three assists and one goal to his name, he has proven to be vital in Rovers’ surge back into the Play-Off spots.
We make up half of the nominees with Bruno Andrade, Ousseynou Cisse and Ben Stevenson being the other three players nominated.
