Jordan Edwards sings for TRFC squad!

13 March 2019

After going viral with his song about James Norwood, we invited Jordan Edwards down to The Campus to perform in front of the lads whilst they had their lunch.

Jordan initially posted the video of his song to Norwood ahead of our game against Crewe probably not expecting what was to come. The video now stands at over 54,000 views with 265 retweets and 919 likes with it being recognised throughout the football community.

After getting to meet the squad and Manager Micky Mellon, Jordan performed a range of covers and his own songs that he has wrote himself including ‘Please Don’t Go’.

Jordan said “I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember really.  I started playing the guitar from a really young age and just went from there.”

“Getting to perform in front of the team was amazing and something that I’ll never forget.”

The team were that impressed that Scott Davies has decided to book Jordan for a Christening this week!

James Norwood has said Jordan should go far with his talent. “I got a few notifications about it and listened to it on the way home. As soon as I heard the part about the receding hairline I thought I’d keep listening.” He joked.

“What a voice. He has just performed there for the lads and he should be going somewhere with a voice like that. If you think he’s good on the video, you need to see him live”.
