Friday night football is back at Prenton Park against Crewe Alexandra on Friday 8th March!
After three wins on the bounce getting us back into the Play-Off positions for the first time since December, we’re encouraging the SWA to pack Prenton Park to try and beat our last Friday night attendance of 6,797 against Macclesfield.
The support from the fans has been phenomenal both home and away and we’re going to need the SWA backing us all the way in these final 11 (minimum) games.
You have to use your strengths in football to your advantage and a main strength of ours is the fans. It has been said before by both Micky and the players, once the SWA are in full positive voice, it can lift the players massively.
Let’s get the place rocking and give ourselves the best chance from now until the end of the season.
After Saturday’s away win at Exeter, Manager Micky Mellon said: “You have to acknowledge the fans as well. How far away are we away from home? And the support we got was absolutely second to none.”

“They again knew that we needed them to get right behind us again, so I’m delighted that they did that”
