Forward Connor Jennings feels that he and his Tranmere Rovers team-mates must concentrate on their own performance ahead of Saturday’s trip to MK Dons in Sky Bet League One.
Micky Mellon’s men will be aiming for a second away win of the season at Stadium MK this weekend, as they prepare to face Paul Tisdale’s Dons.
Jennings, 28, says that Rovers must focus on themselves, with an outing in Buckinghamshire next on the agenda.
Jennings said: “We need to concentrate on our own performance at the moment and keep working hard, we’ve been working on the training ground and put that into the game, and hopefully the three points will come.
“We’ve all got the character, we’ve had the break last week with the game being postponed so we’ve had a good two weeks training where we’ve been working hard and working on a few things, so we’re looking forward to Saturday.
“Every player here does give 100% every game and we are all working very hard to try and turn those results into positive ones.
“We just try and need to be positive and work hard, every game is really important to try and get results, but they (MK Dons) are around us so it makes it a bit bigger, but we’ll go into the game with the same plan and same jobs as usual and we have been working really hard so we are all raring to go.
“We’ve been working hard, it’s tough, but it’s good, and we’re all still getting to know each other as there’s a lot of new lads who have come in.
“You have to keep working hard and keep the right attitude, to see where it takes you.
“You need to have a positive mentality around the place and I’m looking forward to Saturday now, we’ll try and get the three points and that should lift us even more.”
