Salsa night a success at TRFC!

4 November 2019

Tranmere Rovers hosted a charity Salsa Night on Saturday for TRIC (Tranmere Rovers in the Community Trust) and Wirral Ark, which raised funds for the two organisations.

TRFC’s Managing Director Dawn Tolcher was a participant in the event, which saw the community come together to support local initiatives.

Guests received a glass of Gin and Tonic, courtesy of Whitley Gin, while Alan Turton and Dancers provided the entertainment, with those in attendance also given salsa lessons.

Held at Prenton Park’s Recreation Centre, an enjoyable occasion was had by all who came along.

Wirral Ark is a registered charity who provide accommodation for homeless people on the Wirral, as well as providing support guidance for individuals to secure permanent long-term accommodation.

TRIC engages with thousands of people across the Wirral peninsula and beyond each year.

Working across four core themes of Community Engagement, Health, Education and Sports Participation - the community team’s work has expanded from coaching in schools to a wide range of innovative projects covering all ages and abilities.
