It has been a great success for the SWA2 Fan Zone since it kicked off earlier this season.
Held before selected Rovers home Sky Bet League One games at Prenton Park’s Recreation Centre, young supporters have been able to participate in numerous activities before going onto take their seat in the stands.
Activities have included the Turn up and Play as well as Futsal, with sessions held from 1:30pm-2:30pm for children aged between 6-12-years-old.
Rovers first-team players, including the likes of George Ray, Sid Nelson, Evan Gumbs and Jacob Maddox have all shown their support to the SWA2 Fan Zone by coming to meet the children.
Open to season ticket and non-season ticket holders, the SWA2 Fan Zone has proved popular in its first few months, and it returns for a further five matchdays in the New Year.
James Boulton, a member of the SWA2 who attended the Fan Zone, spoke about his experiences of the SWA2 Fan Zone.
James said: "We did some great training before and then we played two matches against different age groups and one against our age group and it was really fun.
"It is really fun and all the kids were really nice, and at the end two Tranmere players, Evan Gumbs and Jacob Maddox came in with Rover and we had to get a big picture, it was really good."
Steve Williams, TRIC's Development Manager said "It has been excellent to have so many kids get involed in the fan zone over the last few months."
"We have had five great sessions which as seen over 80 young Tranmere Fans have a game of football before going to watch the game and they have also had the chance to meet some one the players and Rover the Dog."
"The fan zone will be back after Christmas were we look to welcome even more Tranmere fans"
