Mullin and Payne visit Stanley School!

2 October 2019

Tranmere Rovers forwards Paul Mullin and Stefan Payne visited Stanley Primary School on Thursday afternoon.

The school, which is based in Birkenhead, support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Stanley Primary school is a 120-place mixed Special Needs school for children aged from two-years-old to 11-years-old.

Located on Greenbank Drive, CH61 5UE, the school provides services for emotional and behavioural difficulties and a pupil referral unit.

Mullin and Payne, alongside Tranmere Rovers In the Community Manager Steve Williams, took part in a Q&A session with the school children, before signing autographs and having photos taken.

And Mullin says it is important that TRFC continue to engage in the local Wirral community.

He said: “It’s good to get into the community and meet the fans and the people who come to support you so that they know the Club is very community based.

“Hopefully we can try and bring others who are close to the Club, to come to more games and get them interested in us.”
