The Ladbrokes Northwest Football Awards celebrate the region’s game, both on and off the pitch.

“The TRIC team work hard all year round to reach as many people as possible, from the very young to the elderly, offering opportunities to help improve the local community’s physical, mental and social wellbeing.

“We have a reputation for delivering quality programmes, and that comes from the energy and effort put in by all those that work at Tranmere Rovers in the Community; so it is fantastic that this is being recognised by being nominated for Community Club of the Year.”

Meanwhile, Rovers are up for three other awards taking place on the night, with goalkeeper Scott Davies nominated for League Two Player of the Year, Harvey Gilmour in the Rising Star of the Year category and Micky Mellon is a finalist for Manager of the Year.
